ummm... yeah... because AMD *really* wants customers to confuse their newest line of processors with chips from 1991. wtf.

I dunno if its an attempt to sound like pentium, however the pentium brand is very strong. There are still many people who buy Pentium 4s and Pentiums Ds asumeing that they are the best. Phenom is a nice name though, ive always hated Athlon.
