An excellent reason not to buy them. The only place any sensible lady could wear these headphones, outside the home, would be in a restaurant, and it is impolite to wear headphones in a restaurant. And they will go missing.
If I wrote for the Daily Mail, I would be tempted to telephone the local police station, or MP, and send them a link to this story. I would get a quote from them, damning these things as an incitement to criminals. Then I would write a story e.g. "ban these sick trinkets: damned by police: they rot women's morals and lead men astray". And off to the pub.
