Hopefully the outer skin of this silicone phone* will be more durable than the skin of the Nokia N95 which has a propensity to fall off when the phone comes in contact with any Sunscreen or DEET based insect repellent.
* ... this has to be called the sillyfone, surely.
There was a rubber keyboard accessory for the ZX81 which made it feel close to that of the first gen ZX Spectrum, it was glued on top of the flat keyboard but you still had to press hard to make the buttons work.

Is it just me or is cyon just a little to close to cylon? An interesting choice of name for a phone that can repliacte human skin.

Thats just downright creepy!
Regardless, a pretty mediocre handset.
Most will likely give it a wide berth.

You know, that's actually - well, pretty horrible to be honest. A bit Silence-Of-The-Lambs and all that, like. :/

What's the bet this sells well to a select clientele that make good use of chrome and silicon things that vibrate... ;->

"Anybody remember the ZX81?..."
I think you mean the ZX Spectrum (original model), with the 'dead-flesh' rubber keyboard.
The ZX81 had a membrane keyboard.

How do you clean it? #

Silicon is pretty porous isn't it? So it wouldn't just wipe clean.
I know my wife's dildo is hard to clean.

My phone's keypad ... #
Posted Tuesday 25th March 2008 20:05 GMT
... is actually made of human skin. I do have to replace it every now and then but it's a cheap, readily available material so it's no problem.
Feels a bit like silicon.
