Not sure how flicking ones wrist towards another unit is going to make that unit know I'm talking to it. Last I looked radio waves weren't quite that directional ... or particularly aware of hand gestures.
And what if there's a FlickPhisher or WarFlicker (Worf Licker?) -- you heard it here first, folks -- standing just behind the intended recipient, ready to gobble all your precious data? Children, think of. Terrorists. That sort of thing.

If you really mean 10MB/s rather than 10Mb/s, that's actually pretty nippy. Comparable with most wired networks, indeed.
