Telcom operators have never wanted to provide service, use teelphone merely as listening station into your home. these settops would offer Public clear alternative to complex desktop, at reasonable bill.
Telco could pull in hundreds yearly from each, yet its desert.
Some regualted industries are just horrid under smiling face.

OK, so where are the PS/2 Ports then?? On-Chip Audio? Flashable BIOS could area would be handy too...

Lets see what the total system power consumption is. Hopefully I can get something sub 20W and replace my Geode system.

STB pricing issues are paramount.... I'm guessing this is an expensive part targeted at high end PVRs... not your £20 Freeview STB in Tescos.
