I don't mind online ads, it beats paying to use websites and in some cases they are useful, especially alongside a search engine. A way to customise those ads makes sense, as they can then be giving us what we want to see. We get what we want, and so do the companies ;)
The last time I flew with Ryanair, they did not switch off the seatbelt signs throughout the flight (it was only 20 minutes, but still!) meaning we couldn't use the toilet anyway!
If it lowers the cost of flights, I'm all for it though. I can get from A to B without hold baggage, physical check-ins or on-board toilets =]
Of course this whole thing is nonsense, but one of the scariest parts of this is the fact that the court may be prying into your personal reasons for looking at 'offensive material' is quite horrendous.
People still need XP. I have kept Vista on my latest greatest machine, and am surviving ok with it. Can't run GTA IV but i guess the spec just isn't high enough. I'd love to see it run XP though, I'm all for smaller OSs really - but I'm quite cozy with windows for now.
I don't think that Vista will ever be as good as XP, however it isn't quite as back as you all make out ;)
I just hope that Windows 7 is more than a backwards new UI....
I finished an HND here in Dundee, and most of the people I knew advised me *not* to take the games course at Abertay, and go instead for Applied Computing at Dundee. I see why now =)
