This is what you get when you become so lazy with your web promotion that you think, "search online for xxxxx" is a good enough approach to getting a web presence.
I worked for a company, whose technical director could bet be described with a word that rhymes with punt.
We were trying to get a s/w tester in and had recieved few CV's; the most promising that came in was tossed aside on sight, becuase the guy had puty 'Rev' as a title.
Luckily our tech support manageress/lacky re-read the CV and decided it was the best of the bunch and snuck it back in - it turns out the guy was a Rev in the spiritual/pagan sense of the term.
We hired him, and then found out we'd hired someone who worked on the HTML specification, counted Tim Berners-Lee as a close friend and worked as Tomorrow's World Live's 'Ask the Web Master' - quite possibly the greatest hiring in the companies history!
So, just goes to show you shouldn't think less of people when they put religion in their CV, and this is coming from one of the biggest atheisits you'll ever meet.
OK, wondering if someone here might be able to clear up this.
If it's ilegal to own/posess these images, where does this leave Anime?
I remember the story of the guy coming back to the US from Japan with a suitcase full of Manga and they arrested him over ONE comic, the judge even admitted that the guy was not a pedo, but the law meant that he needed to be jailed and put on the sex offenders list.
I own, (the crappy), Legend of the Overfiend, how that passed UK censors in the first place is beyond me, but what status would it have now?
I bought the thing years ago when still under 18 myself, it's certified by the BBFC but I'm worried it sounds awfully like what they've now made illegal!
So, could I get into trouble for owning a fully BBFC certified movie?
The guy buys a PC which comes with Windows, then get's upset becuase it has Windows.
If he's the IT god he makes himself out to be, why not save yourself a whole load of money by building your own PC and sticking whatever OS you want on it?
It would be like buying a Mac and then complaining that it has Mac OS on it.
As a public sector worker I can atest the last thing we need is open source software.
Do you guys want your taxes to go on re-training every civil servant who for the last 25 years has used the same software?
Then train all the support staff to support the new software, (markedly cheaper than paying them severance and hiring new people - although still expensive, since we'd need to train them as a matter of course).
Then train the developers up again, same reason as above, (for those that argue just get new ones in - don't be stupid it would cost a fortune as you can't fire someone in that way).
In short, there's not enough money to use free software.
"Microsoft simply doesn't have the same consumer/customer credibility that Apple does."
I'm sure you meant to say brain washed idiots who buy anything shiney?
Apple doesn't have any more credibility whith their fan base, (after all, they're not consumers anymore, they're fans), than say Gucci or Nike - gone are the days of decent processors and real innovation, now it's dollar bills and bling.
That's the sales business though - I used to work in retail sales about ten years ago, (ashamed to say I even worked for Tiny); people yo-yo between the retailers, especially the managers.

In Cartoon smut law to make life sucky for Olympic organisers
3(a) states if I isolate a clip from a classified peice of work, it becomes illegal?
So if I use a chapter repeat, or continue viewing at a later date from a bookmarked position I'm a deviant?
And everything comes under 3(b) as, most if not all movies use sex/nudity to ilicit sexual arousal.
Great.

In (Back) into The Valley
I remember keying in BASIC on an old Commodore 16+4, pages and pages of code from the manual to teach you how to code.
I also remember crying at my computer to myself after hours of typing a certain program and nothing happening.
At least I don't do that at work whn my code fails, I leave the room first.
