I particularly like the blurred out roadworks sign man - clearly the 'person detection algorithm' is very advanced.

In Darling's budget targets small business

Not only that, but 0.5% added to NI payments. My VATable expediture is about 25% of my salary (no VAT on food or mortgage), which the extra NI contributions nicely cancelled out. Now that petrol and booze go up, I loose out.

Plus all the hassle now of upsating the company accounts software for all these tweaks...

In BMW unwraps electric Mini

Thumb Up

In order to maximise the battery life, you don't completely flatten it, so it's reasonable to call a full charge 28kWh for a 35kWh battery.

It's actually around 45A for a 2.5 hour charge, based on 28kWh, so a bit like running a power shower. Wouldn't suggest running the power shower and the mini charger at the same time though, or your lights might just go a bit dim.

Thumbs up for the car though, it sounds reasonably practical, and fun. And I don't care if people do get run over, they should know better than to stand in the middle of the road anyway, natural selection, that's what I say.

Website Success

In How to measure website success? Page views or time?

... should be a measure of how effectively the website acheived it's goal.

If I spend a long time looking at a webpage, it might be because it's poorly designed, and it took me a long time to find the information I wanted!
